It provides a strong, reliable lateral load connection that helps decks meet the International Residential Code (IRC) requirement for a 750 lb. connection to the supporting structure at four locations per deck.
The DTT1PC is made from ZMAX galvanized steel for superior corrosion resistance with a stylish black powder coat for added beauty.

Ideal for new construction and retrofits
Accepts a 3/8 in. bolt, anchor bolt, lag screw (with washer), or Strong-Drive SDWH screw for structural anchorage
Made from 14-gauge steel

Fastens to the narrow or wide face of a single nominal 2x with (6) #9 x 1-1/2 in. Outdoor Accents Connector screws (SD9112DBB) and accepts a 3/8 in. machine bolt, anchor bolt, or lag screw (washer required)
Can be installed with the Strong-Drive SDWH Timber-Hex HDG screw (SDWH27800G) with an integral washer; fasteners and anchor sold separately
